Congratulations on your engagement. We look forward to helping you prepare for the Sacrament of Matrimony!
Step 1: Meet with the Director of Weddings and the Pastor to begin the preparation process. Please contact the Director of Weddings at: weddings@saintgabrielschurch.com to set-up an initial meeting.
Step 2: Choose a mentor couple to journey with you through the Witness to Love preparation process and beyond. This program requires a minimum of 6 monthly meetings with your mentor couple. The meetings are approximately 60-75 minutes each. Your mentor couple should be practicing Catholics who celebrated the sacrament of Matrimony in the Church. Mentors should be married at least 5 years; they may not be immediate family members.

Step 4: Meet with the Presider to plan the Liturgy for the Wedding Mass a few weeks prior to the wedding.
Certificates of completion from the Celebrating Your Love retreat day or Engaged Encounter weekend must be provided to St. Gabriel's upon completion.
Preparation Forms and Information
The Wedding Guidelines packet includes information about your wedding day, rehearsal, flowers, music, etc.
A copy of the Florist/Musician/Photographer/Coordinator guidelines must be signed by your vendors and returned to the Director of Weddings.
The Wedding Party Information Form will help our Parish Wedding Coordinator to facilitate the rehearsal. Please send a copy to the Director of Weddings.
